This information is retrieved solely to help identify and organize saved content. Ownership of all third-party content remains with its respective owners.
5 AI-Generated Information
If you use AI-powered features within Web Curator, we may process information such as:
- URLs
- Article metadata
- User notes
- Collection names
- Search queries
- User prompts
- Other content you choose to submit for AI processing
AI features may generate outputs such as summaries, suggested tags, categories, search enhancements, organizational recommendations, and other AI-generated insights.
AI-generated responses may not always be accurate and should be reviewed before relying on them.
6 Team and Collaboration Information
When using collaborative features, we may collect information including:

If you participate in a Team or other collaborative workspace, members of that workspace may be able to access information necessary for collaboration, including:
- Shared Collections
- Notes and comments on shared content
- Team roles and permissions
- Team membership
- Collaboration history related to shared content
Only users with the appropriate permissions will be able to access shared resources.
4 With Payment Providers
When you purchase subscriptions or other paid features, payment information is processed by the applicable app marketplace or payment provider.
We may receive limited information necessary to verify purchases, manage subscriptions, detect fraud, and provide customer support. We do not receive or store your complete payment card information.
5 With AI Service Providers
When you use AI-powered features, the content necessary to fulfill your request may be securely transmitted to AI service providers that assist us in generating responses, summaries, recommendations, or other AI-powered functionality.
We share only the information reasonably necessary to provide the requested AI feature.
6 For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information if we believe doing so is necessary to:

4 Cloud Infrastructure
We use trusted cloud infrastructure providers to host, operate, secure, and maintain the Service. These providers may process information necessary to:

5 Payment Processing

Web Curator is designed to help users discover, save, organize, collaborate on, and share links to content available on the internet. Much of the content accessible through the Service originates from third-party websites, publishers, creators, organizations, and other sources that are not owned or controlled by the Company ("Third-Party Content").
1 Retrieval of Content Metadata
When you save or interact with a web page, Web Curator may retrieve publicly available metadata associated with that page in order to improve your experience. Depending on the website, this metadata may include:

- Preview image and favicon

- Author information and publication date (when publicly available)
- Other publicly available metadata
This information is retrieved solely to help identify, organize, search, preview, and share saved links within the Service.
2 Ownership of Third-Party Content

5 External Websites
Links saved or shared through Web Curator may direct users to websites operated by third parties. We do not own, control, monitor, or endorse these external websites and are not responsible for:

- Any products or services they provide

6 Removal Requests
If a website owner believes that metadata or publicly available information relating to their website has been displayed through Web Curator in a manner that violates their rights or applicable law, they may contact us at hello@webcurat.com. We will review such requests in good faith and take appropriate action where warranted.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Where retention is no longer necessary, we delete or anonymize your information in accordance with this policy.
1 Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the Service or by contacting us at hello@webcurat.com.
Once your account deletion request is confirmed, we will begin deleting your personal information from our active systems. We aim to complete this process within 30 days, except where a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law.
Deletion of your account generally includes:
- Your profile information and authentication credentials
- Your private Collections and saved links
- Your notes, tags, and personal preferences
- Other personal information associated with your account
Certain information may be retained after account deletion where necessary to:

Content that has been shared with other users, contributed to a Team, or made publicly available may continue to be visible where necessary to preserve the integrity of shared workspaces or the experience of other users. Such content may be disassociated from your personal identity where appropriate.
Encrypted backup copies of deleted information may remain for a limited period as part of our disaster recovery processes before being automatically overwritten or securely deleted in accordance with our backup retention practices.
Information that has been irreversibly anonymized so that it can no longer reasonably identify you is no longer considered personal information and may be retained indefinitely for analytics, research, product improvement, and other legitimate business purposes.
International Data Transfers
Web Curator is operated using infrastructure and trusted third-party service providers that may be located in, or process information from, countries other than your country of residence.
